Dear Piggy Bank,

I assure you that you are most definitely not hurting me. And I thank you for your consideration and love. And I’ll tell you if you do.
I feel the exact same way. I hope you do what you want or what you feel would make you happy. I mean it in the most loving, sincere way. I don’t want to be someone that you have to constantly worry about hurting or offending. I know that you love and care about me, and frankly, that’s what matters. I am saying this now and I mean it: I’ll support you in whatever you choose to do regarding us. If communicating with me ever makes you feel constrained, please do what makes you feel free. I want you to have fun and live your life. We have been through too much, and I just have a feeling that we will be friends through it all. I feel like since everybody is telling you to stop talking to you, they might have a valid point. I just don’t see it. Maybe it’s because I love you and don’t want to lose you that I don’t see it. Maybe it’s because I never cared about what anyone had to say about us. Maybe it’s I am scared to let go. I don’t know. All I know is that I will love you in the end, and I hope you hold me to that. Even if I might be mad tomorrow or sad the next week with whatever you do, I won’t hold it against you. We’ll be alright.

Everyone tells me to let go, move on, to stop talking to you.  But, these feelings are not going to leave me.  They all tell me that I am making it worse for both of us by continuing to communicate with you.  I can neither let go of you nor do I want to.  I hope I am not hurting you anymore than I already have by keeping you company.  If ever I do, then please tell me.
